01/18/2022 - On Friday, Jan. 14, St. John Fisher College opened the doors to the Dennis ’72 and Denise Tepas Commons, a newly designed student space located in the heart of the Donald E. Bain Campus Center. Formerly known as the Campus Center Mainstage, Tepas Commons is named in honor of Dennis ’72 and Denise Tepas, whose significant philanthropy made the transformation possible.

01/10/2022 - On Friday, Jan. 7, St. John Fisher College faculty and staff celebrated their achievements in successfully submitting grant proposals, receiving grant awards, and implementing grant projects over the last year.

11/23/2021 - If you’ve been to a Fisher sporting event, chances are you’ve seen Bob Moline ’68. One of the most loyal and ardent supporters of Fisher athletics, Bob can be found cheering on the Cardinals, chatting with fellow fans, or catching up with coaches, players, and parents post-game.

11/22/2021 - A $150,000 gift from St. John Fisher College alumna and Board of Trustee member Rebecca Pelino ’86 will create a new entrepreneurship program in the School of Business.

11/18/2021 - In the fall of 1969, three Fisher students—Dan O’Connor, Joe Hazard, and Bill Brown—were busy creating something that would become a Fisher legacy: a football team.

11/01/2021 - Cardinal pride took over Cleary Auditorium this morning as College employees came together to celebrate the launch of the Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign, which encourages employee giving to the Fisher Fund.

10/26/2021 - Nine classrooms at St. John Fisher College are being transformed into innovative, flexible, active learning spaces, thanks in part to a $52,000 grant from the Higher Education Capital Match Program (HECap) that was secured in collaboration with the College’s Office of Sponsored Programs.

10/18/2021 - Over the summer, the Joseph S. Skalny Welcome Center Board Room received significant upgrades and on Wednesday, Oct. 13, College officials gathered to formally acknowledge the philanthropists who made the enhancements possible. The event celebrated the renaming of the space the James ’71 and Kathleen Leo Community Room, in honor of their generosity.

09/29/2021 - On Friday, Sept. 3, St. John Fisher College honored Terry Rodenbeck ’64, an alumnus of the College and the inaugural coach of the cross country program, by renaming the coach’s office in his honor.

09/16/2021 - In a continuation of her generous support of the Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher College, nationally renowned pharmacist and entrepreneur Lucy P. Malmberg has given $500,000 to support student scholarships and educational technology.
