Through the dedicated support of donors, strategic cultivation of major gifts, and the engagement of the Fisher community, this campaign more than doubled the dollars raised by the prior Vision 2020 campaign. The remarkable achievements of Fisher Forward not only set new records in terms of financial metrics but also redefined donor participation, impact, and the evolution of advancement efforts at the University.

Roadmap to Success FY16–20

Campaign Launch

The campaign began July 1, 2015, and secured $9.8M in the first year. The public launch was held in September 2019, marking the beginning of a bold new chapter in St. John Fisher University’s history.

Campaign Chair Victor (Vic) E. Salerno, Jr. ’66

At the heart of this campaign’s foundation lies the unwavering belief of campaign chair, the late Victor E. Salerno, Jr. ’66.

Dr. Gerard J. Rooney, President

President Rooney took office in 2015 after having served as the University's executive vice president for enrollment, advancement, and planning. Dr. Rooney has been a member of the Fisher family for over two decades and is the proud parent of two Fisher alumni.
